My Policies

Hello! I'm happy we have an appointment and I can't wait to meet you! Let's lay out some policies and procedures so we can move on to the good part.

Cancellations.

I understand that life is unpredictable. If you need to reschedule your appointment I ask that you let me know as soon as possible. More than 24 hours notice is required. If you do need to cancel immediately before your appointment please call or text so we can get you rescheduled. Please keep in mind that my books fill up quickly, so if you are a lash extension client I may not be able to get you in until your next scheduled fill. This will mean you will need a full set of lashes and will be charged as such. With over 24 hours notice I'm able to fill that spot with a client on my waiting list. We'll both appreciate you and your timely communication. Everyone wins! Huzzah!

If you are over 10 minutes late for your appointment I will not be able to complete your service. We may be able to perform your service with a shorter duration, but it will be amended to fit in the time remaining. For example, a lash lift or brow lamination may not include tint, a facial will not have the full massage time, ect. Regardless of duration or completion it will be charged at full price. We'll discuss expectation and time constraints before we begin an amended service.

I cannot allow children under 13 to accompany you to your appointment. Because of the safety and supervision needs of young children, it's distracting for both you and I. Making a young child sit quietly for an hour is a huge expectation, and will inevitably stress both you and them out. Even the most well-behaved kids get the wiggles. I want your appointment to be as relaxing as possible. Aside from this, for lash extention clients, you can't open your eyes for at least five minutes, if needed. If your child requires anything or is having an issue you'll essentially be without sight until your lashes are dry. This poses risks in emergency situations. If you are without child care, let me know as soon as possible so we can reschedule you for a convenient time.

Multiple late cancellations and arrivals will result in non-refundable payment in full for services at time of booking.

Payment.

Payment is due at the end of the service. I'm able to accept all major credit cards and contactless payment like Apple, Samsung, and Google Pay. I cannot accept transfer by digital payment networks like Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle. I do not accept checks, offer financing, or delayed payment plans.

I do not offer refunds on services, only product. This is because services are provided with my time and supplies, which are both single-use commodities. If you're dissatisfied at all with your service please contact me within 72 hours of your appointment and I would be happy to schedule a complimentary fix. No, seriously, I'm not just saying this. If lash extensions have irregular shedding or you feel they're uneven, I'm more than happy to provide a complimentary fill, but I must be contacted no more than 3 days after your appointment. Lash lifts and brow laminations can be reversed, tint can be removed/redone, lash extensions can be re-mapped and adjusted. It's all fixable and I'm more than happy to do so. I want you to feel beautiful and your service is guaranteed. Don't ever feel like you're bothering me. It would bother me to find out you weren't happy. I'm not in the business of unhappy. We don't do unhappy.

Expectations For Lash Extension Clients.

I ask that you arrive to your appointments with freshly washed lashes. If you're unable to cleanse your lashes less than 45 minutes before your appointment I'll give you a brush and cleanser and have you wash your lashes immediately before we start. Here's a link to aftercare with a section on how to properly cleanse lash extensions. This must be done for proper retention. Some lash artists will cleanse for you before they start. I don't do this for a couple reasons. First, it takes time away from our appointment when I could be putting lashes on you. Second, it's awkward. You know how to cleanse your lashes. I give you the tools and knowledge to do a fantastic job at it. It's not worth me dripping water down your face (and sometimes into your ears) while you're laid down and then invasively scrubbing your eyes when you are already proficient at doing it yourself. Which brings me to...

You must wash your lashes every day. When you lay down and I have you under the lights and magnification I can tell if you're washing your lashes regularly. I'll see little specks of sleep, build up around the bases, and sometimes skin and fuzz. If you wore eye shadow a few days before I'll see glitter. If there is any build up on your lashes you won't get the best retention possible. It breaks down the adhesive and when I go to do your fills on top of it, they won't stay permanently attached to your natural lash. If you have anything less than 50% of your lash extensions at your fill appointment it will be charged as a full set. Not to forget, clean lashes are healthy lashes. See the link above for more information on that.

If you're not cleansing your lash extensions properly I will not be able to continue doing your lashes. This is for your safely and my sanity. If your lashes are shedding like crazy because of improper aftercare I am not able to provide lash extensions at the best of my ability. We're a team! Go team! Team Awesome Lashes! Oh, wow. Probably going to work on that. I'll let you come up with our team name.

If you attempt to remove your lash extensions at home I will not be able to continue having you as a lash extension client. See aftercare link above for more information on why that's a terrible idea. I use a high-retention adhesive that takes about 5-6 days to budge with oils or weak solvents. I have a remover specifically made for this adhesive. If you pick or pull at your lashes I will not be able to continue with any lash services at all, including lash lifts. My goal is for you to have healthy lashes under your extensions. If you want to take a break, I want your natural lashes to still be there waiting for you.

I will only do lash extensions that your natural lashes can support. If you want mega-volume, I will not be able to achieve this on weak or thin lashes. Previously damaged lashes will require rehabilitation before mega-volume and volume will be considered. If you're unsure about what your lashes can support, I'm more than happy to offer a free consultation before we schedule your appointment. Again, I want you to have healthy lashes under your extensions.

Allergic Reactions to Lash Extensions

If you have experienced or experience an allergic reaction you'll be advised to contact a healthcare professional and lash services will be discontinued until a physical copy or email of a doctors note is received that gives explicit permission to perform a patch test with a less allergenic adhesive. Lash extension services can be resumed after a patch test has been successfully completed without an allergic response. If you've had an allergic reaction to lash adhesive and don't disclose this before an appointment begins it will be considered breach of contract and any future services including patch test will not be performed. Click here for more information on lash adhesive allergies and patch testing.

This outline of my policies will be considered read and acknowledged upon receipt.

I appreciate you taking the time to read this. It's an opportunity to set clear expectations so we can have the best relationship possible. As always, reach out with any questions you may have. I'm a patient person who understands that unknowns create anxiety and my goal is to be as transparent as possible. I want our journey to beautiful skin and lashes to be enjoyable, predictable, and safe.
